"Tréma" est une installation artistique qui marie l'intelligence artificielle à la créativité humaine. Au cœur du festival, cette structure gigantesque invite les festivaliers à devenir les compositeurs d'une symphonie numérique.
Un agent artificiel sert de cerveau numérique à "Tréma". Il apprend des humains en recevant leurs retours sous forme de feedback positif ou négatif. Les festivaliers peuvent ainsi orienter l'agent en donnant leur avis sur les ambiances musicales et les visuels proposés.
Grâce à une approche d'apprentissage par renforcement, l’agent artificiel s'adapte en temps réel en fonction des préférences des festivaliers. La symphonie résultante est une expérience immersive qui fusionne les talents créatifs avec les capacités évolutives de l'intelligence artificielle.
Œuvre créée par Victor Drouin-Trempe et Danny Perreault, en coproduction avec le Lumifest. Une collaboration avec Étienne Montenegro, œuvre issue des recherches menées au mXlab de l’UQAM dirigé par Sofian Audry, à l’aide d’un outil développé par Hugo Scurto avec l’équipe ISMM de IRCAM-STMS.
